  • 2020 Burn Institute Fill The Boot
    Updated On: Feb 10, 2020

    Brothers & Sisters of I.A.F.F. Local F-33,

The time has come to volunteer and raise money for the "Firefighter Boot Drive" to benefit The Burn Institutes programs and services which directly benefit burn survivors and their families. This is an opportunity for our department to participate in something meaningful as well as a way for us to connect to each other off duty for a great cause. The important information for this event is listed below as well as in the attached flyer.

    Event: "Fill The Boot" Fundraiser

Time: March 5th, 2020 from 1000-1300 (Tentative based on number of volunteers)

Location: Intersection of Midway and Rosecrans in Point Loma

The hope is to have a minimum of 10 people to volunteer and represent our department for this fundraiser. If we have more people than that, that is a good thing as it will allow any last minute issues with no shows and may even allow us to have another location to collect donations. This all depends on the final number.

We need to submit a list of volunteers to our contact at The Burn Institute by February 18th in order to secure the correct amount of signs, shirts, and boots for collection. Please only volunteer if you can attend the event as the number of volunteers will determine how many of those items are allocated.
Thank you very much and we look forward to going out there and making this a fun, productive fundraiser that our department can look forward to year in and year out!

In order to volunteer, please send your name, phone number, and shirt size to:
